Experiencing Halloween candy guilt?!

When you think of all the things you should be afraid of around Halloween... food shouldn't be one of them. I spent WAY too many Halloweens being more fearful of treats than tricks.

This lead to trying to avoid Halloween candy at all costs. And if you're anything like me, you know this will backfire on you faster than you can say, "boo!".

Completely swearing off that bite-sized goodness only made me crave candy even more, and made me feel out of control when I inevitably got my hands on any, leading me to eat way more than if I had just allowed myself to eat what I wanted, when I wanted, in the first place.

The solution:

Enjoy your favourite Halloween treats regularly! Take the pressure off those little nuggets of joy and remind yourself that you can have candy whenever you want. And most importantly, ditch the guilt at the door.
